Service Incident May 4 2015 at 10 00 PM PDT

At around 10:30 PM PDT, we began receiving reports of slowness for some customers and we were able to isolate this to our West Coast datacenter. 

10:58 PM PDT: 

We are currently investigating reports of performance issues affecting customers from our west coast data center. We will update with more information as soon as possible.

11:30 PM PDT: 

We have fixed the issues causing temporary slowness in some accounts. You\\\'ll be able to find a postmortem here soon.


The performance problems were caused by increased response times of one of our datacenters, which in turn was brought about by heavy traffic generated by a Zendesk Application. To mitigate the incident, we have disabled the offending application and terminated all active browser sessions. More info on remediation steps to follow.
