Service Incident May 3rd 2016 Views issues

We are investigating reports of issues working with views for some of our customers. More details to follow.

POST-MORTEM

Customers were unable to access their tickets in views. Features such as searching for tickets were not listed in views. We determined the root cause was a very delayed SQL replication, resulting in customers seeing stale data. The issue was resolved by making sure the replication was running right on time, allowing ticket views to return to normal.

To remedy this type of issue in the future, we are ensuring replication lag alerts are in place and running properly.
