We are happy to report that the search issues affecting some customers are now resolved.
An update in Help Center search event tracking incorporated a bug that caused any customer that had the Zendesk community disabled to fail a code validation for a searched event. Because that validation error was not caught, it would propagate to the browser and show a generic error page. To resolve the issue, we rolled back the update with no ill side effects. To protect against this type of issue in the future we'll be adding more unit tests to run searches when a Help Center's Community is disabled.
